
John F. Rozenbaum DVM
Dr John Rozenbaum graduated from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990 with a strong interest in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery as well as diagnostic ultrasound. Dr Rozenbaum has attended numerous continuing education seminars. Some of his specialties include fracture repair, surgery of the stifle joint, and abdominal ultrasound.
Dr Rozenbaum’s family includes his wife, Denise, and children, Andrew and Anna. Miley and Maggie are his two Labrador Retrievers, along with their Siamese cat Winston and a sulcata desert tortoise named Pete.
Dawn D., LVT
Dawn has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2007. She graduated from Macomb Community College, and has been employed at AVMC since 2008.
Dawn has several pets. She has a scruffy mutt named Daisy Mae, 2 cats named Oliver Logan and Lulu Bean, and a rabbit named Homer James. In her free time, Dawn enjoys running (marathons on occasion), camping and other outdoorsy activities.
Renee J.
Renee has been employed by AVMC since September 2009. She has been working with Dr. Rozenbaum for over 20 years. Her duties include overseeing the day to day operations of the hospital, and managing AVMC’s surgery suite & ICU.
She also has special interests in Anesthesia, Dentistry, Nutrition and Wildlife Rehabilitation. So feel free to call and pick her brain! Renee enjoys spending time with her family and the great outdoors.
Kim S.
Kim started working at AVMC in July, 2010. She graduated from Wayne County Community College’s Veterinary Technician program in 2009. She thoroughly enjoys working with any and all kinds of animals. It is her passion to get to know the pets as if they were her own. At home, Kim has a gorgeous cat named Smokey Bailey. She enjoys gardening and traveling in her free time.
Ashley W.
Ashley has loved the adventure of getting to know all of the patients and their families here at Advanced Veterinary Medical Center. At home she has 2 cats named Tyner and Birdie and a Boston Terrier puppy named Rudy to keep her busy.
When she is not at the veterinary office, she is off playing and working with children. She enjoys traveling, music and hanging out with her friends and family.
